Rene took the place of my Mother when she left the chemist to have me. Then Rene and Dennis took over our village post office when I was about 7 years old. I feel that I have known Rene all my life. A lovely, kind, cheerful smiley lady, who knew everyone that entered the shop. My grandchildren thought a lot of her as well. She will be missed.
